Are smart blinds a lot more expensive than regular blinds?
What’s the difference between wired and battery-powered blinds?
Wired solutions are generally best for new builds or major renovations as they provide constant power and are maintenance-free. Battery-powered blinds are the perfect solution for fitting into existing rooms, as they don’t require any disruptive wiring work.
Can you automate the blinds or curtains I already have?
In many cases, yes! For curtains, we can often install a motorised track. For some types of existing blinds, a motor can be added. We can assess your current window treatments during a free consultation to see what’s possible.
What happens if the motor fails or the power goes out?
The motors we use from leading brands like Somfy are incredibly reliable and built to last for years. In the rare event of a power outage, wired blinds will remain in their last position, while battery-powered blinds will continue to work as normal.
